The International Council of Nurses has launched an e-learning training and educational platform to support nursing
students and nurses worldwide.
The two learning modules, funded by the World Health Organization and developed by the International Council of Nurses,
bring together content designed to build professional practice knowledge through competency-based education to facilitate
the advancement of the Global Patient Safety Action Plan 2021-2030 and the Global Strategic Directions for Nursing and
Midwifery 2021-2025.

Module 2: Global Strategic Directions for Nursing and Midwifery
The free educational modules are available in three languages: English, French and Spanish.
2 ICNEC credits and 1.75 ICNEC credits will be awarded upon completion, respectively.
